—連結相隔6103公里的大吉嶺與日本，一段關於靈魂的旅程…… 在印度喜馬拉雅山麓的小鎮大吉嶺，一位虔誠的藏傳佛教僧侶扎西被派往日本繼續他的修行。在那裡，他遇見了一位脾氣古怪的老年男子，以及他的假釋出獄的孫女惠美。隨著扎西與他們逐漸熟悉，孤獨的惠美與扎西之間的距離也開始慢慢拉近，兩人之間逐漸浮現出禁忌的情感。
