伊利和菲利普這對好友都夢想成為作家，就在他們相約寄出作品初稿後，兩人的際遇卻截然不同：菲利普憑著出眾才氣，瞬間在挪威藝文圈爆紅，甚至談起新戀情，不料這番突如其來的轉變卻讓他莫名陷入憂鬱深淵；伊利雖遭出版社婉拒，反而激勵了他繼續朝著夢想前進。半年過去，菲利普雖已痊癒，戀情卻也岌岌可危，渴望再一次擁抱愛情的他，還有重新來過的可能嗎？而立志要在文壇發光發熱的伊利，最終能如願成為一名作家嗎？
